Delete Your Account
How to permanently delete your Sunflare account and what happens when you do.
If you can log in
Go to Settings → My Account → Delete Account and confirm with your password. Deletion happens immediately. There's no waiting period and no separate request to approve.
Log InIf you can't log in
Lost access to your account? Forgotten password, lost 2FA, or anything else keeping you out? Email support@sunflare.me from the address you signed up with (or include your username) and ask us to delete it. We'll verify you're the account owner before anything is removed.
What gets deleted
| Removed immediately | What happens to it |

| Profile info | Display name, avatar, banner, bio, and pronouns are all removed. |
| Login credentials | Your email and password are permanently scrambled. The account can never be logged into again, by you or anyone else. |
| Friends, DMs & server memberships | Removed from every friends list, DM, and server you were part of. |

| Messages you sent | Stay visible to the people you sent them to, attributed to "Deleted User" instead of your name, the same way a message doesn't un-send from someone else's inbox in any messaging service. Nothing further identifies you as the author. |
If you own a server, you'll need to transfer ownership or delete the server itself before your account can be deleted.
